Hi and welcome to my space.

My name is Mihail Yanev, I am a PhD student at the University of Glasgow. My research focuses on network transport protocols and multimedia. My PhD thesis, Transport-Assisted Rate Adaptation in HTTP Streaming Application, focuses on modifying TCP congestion control to allow delivering higher quality video on constrained links improving the delivery and enhancing the video experience.

My Doctoral Training is funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC)
